how to stop dispatcher.exe application running at startup

Hi,

as windowsXp starts, there is an unwished running process: it appears
in the taskmanager in the applications tab (but there is not a
window,a tray icon or an icon in the taskbar). Its name sounds like
the name I gived to a simple test project that I made with a
programmers IDE. When I right-click on the name (in the taskmanager
application tabs) and click on 'Go to process' it goes to
Dispatcher.exe in the processes tab of taskmanager. How can I prevent
and definitely stop it to be executed at startup?

Thanks,
Valerio

One link from this Google search:

Suggests it could be malware:

Do you know the system is clean, and how do you check it?
