How to stop auto Sign-in?

Just upgraded Windows Messenger to ver 4.7.2009 (not that I had any choice in the matter)
When I start OE, Messenger sits in the tray "Not Signed In" and after a period of time (not sure, maybe 20-30 minutes) I will look down and see that it has "Signed In" with NET Passport
"Run when Windows Starts" and "...Run in background" unchecked
How can I prevent this auto sign-in?

I still see msmsgs.exe running, but I can sure live with that

download and run this .reg file

Well if it's a boy, name him Jonathan
If it's a girl name her Kay
