how to stop auto delete of mail after reading in outlook

When I finish reading my mail in outlook inbox and go to another piece of
mail the last one I was reading gets deleted. HELP don't want this I want
todelete!
 
Check your View settings. You might have it set to Unread Messages and so
messages disappear after reading. Change the View to All Messages.
