How to start Win XP in Win98 mode?

I must use Win 98 very often. Is there a way to start
automatically in Win98 mode? I have both OS installed and
I want Win98 to be the default? Thanks.

IF you installed XP in the dual-mode option then, when booting, you shold
see a screen asking you which operating system to boot to. Is that screen
appearing?

There is no such thing as "Windows 98 mode". If you set up a dual boot then
Windows 98 will be there to select from at boot.

Go to Control Panel, System, Advanced, Startup and Recovery, Setttings. You can change the default choice for the OS to boot there.
