How to start a song a few seconds into it in PP2003

I already created a PP2003 presentation (and showed it at my son's wedding).
Many songs started a few seconds or over a minute into the song. Somehow
(through moving the entire folder? broken links?), most of the songs no
longer play. I have had to delete them and start over, reinstalling them. I
can do that, but the one feature that I CANNOT do is: I need some of the
songs to start after the beginning of the song, and this feature doesn't work
anymore. I don't understand it. Jenny

Start > From Playing [enter time]) does not work?

That's correct, Sandy. I am doing all the same things that I did the first
time I created the presentation. I say that I want a song to start 30 seconds
in, for example, and it doesn't seem to matter whether I say "with previous"
or "after previous." Also, I have a 1 gig key that has the complete program,
and on the key, it plays perfectly, but when I copy the program from the key
onto my hard drive, of the 20+ songs that are in a folder with the slide
show, only four of them actually play unless I delete them and then reinsert
them. As I said before, that works, but NOTHING will make some of the songs
start beyond the beginning of the song. They all start at zero seconds even
though I want some of them to start at 7 seconds, 30 seconds, etc. I can't
figure it out at all. I hope that someone can help me. I have to create
another slide show for my other son.
