My XP is becoming slower and slower day by day.
Any hint for speeding up????
(i've already cleaned registers, removed unnecessary applications from
startup and defragged hard disk)
Thanx.

Try Using System File Checker.
This will scan and replace any corrupt system files and may just cure both
your System Resources & slowness.
Start | Run: SFC /SCANNOW
Insert the XP cd in the drive.

Disable Indexing Service found under properties of the C: Drive

In Services you could also disable the following services:
1. Error Reporting Service.
2. Machine Debugger Manager.
3. Messenger.
4. NetMeeting Remote Desktop Sharing.
5. Remote Registry.
6. Routing and Remote Access.
7. SSDP Discovery Service.
8. Telnet.

When you select each Service there is an explanation on what it does.

Cheers Doug
