How to show pictures one by one in one slide?

If I want to put 4 pictures into 1 slide, how can I make them appear one by
one?? I'm using PowerPoint 2003

Select all four pictures, click Slide Show > Custom Animation.
Click Add effect > Entrance. Select either fade or appear.
Now, select all the effects added, set the Start to "On Click".
