Hi, Adi,

Right-click the shortcut you use to open Notepad and select "properties".
Make sure you are at the "shortcut" tab and in the "Run" box select
"Maximised".

HTH Tony.

Thanks You Tony, but it doesn't work. It still open in middle size not
maximised.
I must do something change in Register, but what?

Adi,

I tend to agree with Tony

Click START | ALL PROGRAMS | ACESSORIES then right-click NOTEPAD |
Properties | Run & choose Maximized from the dropdown listbox. Click APPLY
then click OK

Now go back to that shortcut & click it which should open in full screen. If
not, does the system menu just show enabled RESTORE, MINIMIZE & CLOSE?

Yes, when I click on Notepad its open in maximaze size, but when I double
click file.txt (example), it open minimazed. This is what I wish to change,
that program window will open in full size.
Thanks for advices!

Try this...

Open Notepad (or any item you want this for) to whatever size it becomes via
the shortcut. Then drag the window corners to the monitor screen corners.
Finally, click on the icon in the upper-left corner on the title bar, then
select Close (Alt+F4) in its menu. This should reset the "normal" setting
to come as close to maximized as possible.

Note that this works most of the time. I have errant windows which return
to old settings and have to redo it now and then.

Yes, only Your advice will work, but I find solution myself before You give
Your advice on news.
Anyway, thank all for hard work!
Malvern, look for settings in Registry: fSavePageSettings must be 1, and
fSaveWindowsPositions must be 1 too.
If those aren't in register Add them.
