How to setup an "out of office" reply email

I'm going out of the country and will not be accessible
to email for over 10 days. I wanted to setup an auto
response to send to people when they send me an email
during that time that says when i will return. I have
received these from others before. How do I set this up
when using Outlook 2000?

Tools-Out of Office Assistant.
Note - if you do not connect to Exchange Server you won't have this option.
You CAN emulate it with a rule, but your machine must be on 24/7, with
Outlook running 24/7 and an internet connection running 24/7. It also will
respond to every piece of spam you get, engendering more spam in reply. It
will also advertise to all and sundry that your house is vacant and suitable
for burglary!

Choose Tools | Out of Office Assistant. Fill in the
message field and be sure to select the radio button next
to "I Am Currently Out of the Office" right before you
leave. It will send one auto-reply per day to people who
send you e-mails.

Why don't you put your address in the Out of Office Message too, and make it
REAL easy on the burglars
