How to set Number of Copies back to default of '1' in print?

I am using MS Word 2003. I printed 30 copies of one document by using the
'Number of Copies' field in the print dialog box. Now that field defaults to
30. No matter what I do, I cannot change it back to a default of 1.

How do you reset that field to a default of 1?

Thanks!

By default, Word always resets to 1. Check your printer Properties to make
sure you don't have some other number set as the default.

Suzanne:

Thank you very much for your reply. I checked the printer Properties and
it's fine. The problem seems to be the number of copies being 'stuck' on
something other than the default of '1'. A friend forwarded me a web-site in
which they discuss a similar problem in MS Excel, where the number of copies
has gotten stuck on something else besides the default of '1'. It seems to
be a problem within the print dialog box.
