How to set IE as primary browser?

I have IE 6 and Firefox installed. How do I set IE as the primary browser so
that IE will load when a browser is called, rather than Firefox.

Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Programs, check [x] Internet
Explorer should check to see...

Close Internet Explorer and start it again. IE will ask you if you want it
to be the defauklt browser. Say YES.

This setting was already checked. Whether or not this is checked, when I
load IE it doesn't ask if I want it to be the default browser. Perhaps there
is some place to set the default browser. (Example problem -- when I use
ZoneAlarm and click on "More information", it always loads Firefox instead
of IE.)

Tools | Internet Options | Programs
Click "Reset Web Settings".
You my want to uncheck the box to "Also reset my homepage".

On Windows XP or 2000, use Set Program Access and Defaults. It's
accessible in different ways depending on your Windows version and
configuration, but I believe you can always get there from Add/Remove
Programs.
