How to set default column header names - Windows Explorer

I want the column headers' names on the right pane of Windows Explorer
to be Name, Size, Type and Date Created for ALL files. Is there a simple
way to do it?

You mean like left click (Holding the mouse button down) and drag the size
columan to the desired location?
It's that easy

Or

Right click on the bar then go to the bottom of the list (More....)
Opens another window... Move what you want Up or Down and check what you
want to show or un check not to show

No. The OP wants to set the column headers and, probably, the column
widths, one time in an arbitrary directory so that the settings apply to
every future instance of each and every directory opened in Explorer.

I await an authoritative answer, since I am as frustrated with explorer
in Vista as is the OP.

No. The OP wants to set the column headers and, probably, the column
widths, one time in an arbitrary directory so that the settings apply to
every future instance of each and every directory opened in Explorer.

And yes you can set "ALL" like folders at the same time.

I reviewed the linked reference and found that "How to reset Windows
Explorer folder view settings to make Vista remember" does close to what
I want to do except "Date Modified" instead of "Date Created". This
reference tells about "Automatic Folder Type Discovery ... "
functionality of Vista. My frustration appears to be due to
mulfunctioning of this feature. The above fix includes disabling this
functionality.

I do not know what is the difference between "Date Modified" and "Date
Created" because I noticed that Date Modified is not necessarily younger
dated than Date Created. Could anyone help?

Yes, that forum discussion tells exactly or more than what I wanted to
do. I just found it out and I was about to post to that effect but you
beat me. Thank you anyway for trying to call my attention.
My thanks to Dave for your post. I am finally relieved from the frustration.
