Assume the File Explorer. I want the details view to have
the traditional columns like File Name, Date Modified, Type, File
Size.
Initially, most if not all directories in the details view had the
columns
Date Taken, Tags, Rating - apparently for images. For those
directories
that I use frequently, I set the details view to include the columns I
want,
i.e. File Name, Date Modified, Type, File Size.
However, once in a while my settings are lost and my columns are gone
and replaced with the original columns Date Taken, Tags, Rating.
Does anybody know what causes my settings to be reset? How to freeze
them?
How to set all the directories to include my selected columns and
freeze them
forever?
What is so special about Date Taken, Tags, Rating? Why Vista
uses them as default and not the traditional columns
used for decades?
