How to set a default envelope?

I want to set a default envelope for my documents that does not include a
return address but does include a postal bar code.
 
Check the "Omit" check box next to the return address in the Envelope menu.
In "Envelope Options," check "Delivery point barcode." These changes alter
the default setting, which can be recreated by going to Envelope Options and
clicking the "Printing Options" tab.
 
I have used the method you described; the set up cannot be saved as the
default.
 
Use an envelope template - there are some samples on the downloads page of
my web site. You will have to add the barcode field.
