How to send distribution list email showing only recipients name?

I need to know how to send emails with a distibution list so that the
recipients see only their own name and no one else's. Can anyone help?

Personalized mail messages require a mail merge to electronic mail. Mail
merges cannot use DL's.
Outlook uses Word for performing mail merge functions such as email merges.
