how to send a popup message to workgroup

All other versions of Windows use winpopup.exe to send a
popup message to a workgroup BUT XP. I can receive popup
messages from other users on my home netwoek on all
versions of Windows including XP. But I can on send popup
messages with all versions of Windows except XP.

Actually, there is no real Windows-based interface (like WinPopUp) in Windows XP. You can
use the "net send" command to
send these types of messages. To do so,
click the Start button, then click Run, and enter:
net send computername themessage

Where the computername is the computer name of the person you're sending to, and themessage
is the message you want to send.
