how to secure a folder from be saved with some types of files

How can i protect a folder from be saved with some types
of files like .exe . jpg and others?
 
I don't know of a way to do that within the operating system itself. You can use
virus protection to protect your computer and if using XP Pro you can use
Software Restriction Policies to prohibit running certain applications totally
or in certain paths. --- Steve
