How to scan a document using Word XP ver of Office

I need to know how to scan a document to be edited with OCR into Word, using
Office XP. Appreciate any and all help as this is very important. Can reply

public newsgroup.

2. You need to read the documentation that came with your scanner. It varies
from brand to brand, model to model, and flavor of software that came with
it.
