How to save web page as Word doc

Is it possible to save a web page (*.htm, *.mht, or
*.html) as a Word document (*.doc)? The only way I figure
now is
1) Copy and paste into Word and then save, or
2) Save as *.mht and change file extension to .doc

Thanks for any help you can provide.

You can also used Save As .txt then rename the file .doc.
Open it with Word and you will see that all tags are gone. You will only see
the text.

Now the question what are you trying to do.
