How to save non-cached VOD's in Firefox?

Demographics:
Firefox 1.5.0.1
Win2K
Windows Media Player 9

I have discovered streaming media (VOD files) that I'd like to keep and
play on my hard drive. In the Firefox browser, I got to Tools Menu >
Page Info > Media Tab > and I locate the shockwave/flash embedded item
that I want to save. The data section of the Page Info box says that
the VOD is not cached. I can't figure out a way to save this VOD.

Can anyone offer advice?

I've been able to download some imbedded stuff by copying the URL from
adblock. Once the video is playing, open up the adblock "bloackable
elements" list and click on the URL. It will place that URL into the
text box at the bottom for editing. Just select the URL and copy/paste
it into the download manager of your choice.
