how to save a custom watermark in word 2007

I can create a custom watermark in Word 2007 but the save option is always
"grayed out", can anyone help?

Do you have your custom Watermark selected?

Make sure you are viewing the Header/Footer. Right-click in the top margin
and click Edit Header. Then click your custom Watermark to select it. On the
Page Layout tab, click Watermark, and at the bottom of the gallery click
Save Selection to Watermark Gallery.
