Lucy also suggested a while ago that you can right-click a file in Windows
Vista and restore the previous version of a file. I have not been able to
do that here, using Windows Home Premium. Maybe I'm missing something.

Just seen this at the bottom of the article:
Note: Only Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, and Windows
Vista Ultimate editions support previous versions of files.
So looks like it won't work for you :-(
Only other thought is did you e-mail it to anyone? If you did, check your
sent items.
