How to resume from screensaver via logon screen?

Using windows XP pro. SP2.

How do I get the screensaver to resume via my logon screen and not via the
"locked computer" dialog box?

I've tried severeal things:

Found a thread about it here:
http://www.techzonez.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-9848.html
I want to do the opposite though. Qouting the interesting one here:
--------------
...."So, if your "on resume, password protect" box has inexplicably changed to
a "on resume, display welcome screen" box (as mine did) here's what to do --
with thanks to the Slookster:

1. Log on to the computer as an administrator.
2. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click User Accounts.
3. Click Change the way users log on or off.
4. Deselect the "Use the Welcome screen" check box, and the "Use Fast User
Switching" check box also deselects.
5. Click OK and exit User Accounts.

Then display the Screensaver properties pane in the normal way and ... hey
presto .. it's changed back again! I thank you..... :)"
--------------
I have the opposite settings of course, enabled the "use welcome screen" and
"use fast user switching". To no avail.

Another one suggested uninstalling and then reinstalling .net:
http://forums.asp.net/thread/1081839.aspx
Also to no avail. I tried it, didn't help.

I also experiment a bit with what system services I need running, trying to
keep the number of services down. Not extremely though, I like a nice
skinned windows to look at. Which is why I want the screensaver to resume
via the logon screen.

So just to make sure, I also enabled the "fast user switching", "terminal
services" (needed for fast user switcing..) and even the secondary logon
service, not really sure if they are needed just for this. (via run -
services.msc). The above steps didn't help with these enabled and running
either...

And IF they where needed just for getting to the logon screen after the
screensaver, then I wouldn't enabled those. But I just wanted to see if it
was.

And my logon screen works nicely by pressing the windows-L keys.

Suggestions?

I'm answering myself here, in case others are interested.

Well, the big übertrick that did it, in addition to the above settings in my
own userprofile (fast user switching etc), is to have a second user
profile..

A bit annoying as I'm the only user on my machine.

Oh yeah, "offline files" have to be disabled for "fast user switching" to be
enabled... that makes sense. :-/

You got it! FYI, this has been discussed in this NG earlier.

Ok, I really tried searching a while before I posted this question.
Btw, thanks for that link, interesting page you got!

Incidentally (though the wrong thread..), do you know the answer to my other
question about the sorted column background color (in windows explorer)?
Where to change it that is?

Sorry! I don't have a solution for that one.
