How to restore Contacts list was Re: Bogus name When Mike written in To line

OK GREAT! It worked. Now for my new problem. While trying
to find this name I deleted my CONTACTS list. I ahve found
several copies of this list in my computer. How do I get
the names and addresses to appear in CONTACTS again?
 
When you say you found several copies of the list, what exactly do you
mean -- are they files, and if so, what is the file format?
