Just recently started to experience the event discovered
in Event Viewer - Event ID # 12, Type: Information,
Category: None, Source: i8042prt, Desc: The ring buffer
that stores incoming mouse data has overflowed (buffer
size is configurable via the registry). What HKEY, key
located in registry can manipulate this buffer? And

This occurrence does not allow me to utilize my PS/2 mouse
when laptop in Dell Latitude docking station.

system: Dell Latitude C610, using Mouse PS/2 Synaptics
Pointing Device resource. Synaptic driver: date: 4/1/2002
and ver: 6.2.14.0
