try opening a command prompt window with admin rights and running System
File Checker. If the DLL is corrupt that *should* replace it for you (I
think ).
Start / All Programs / Accessories / Command Prompt (r/c and Run As Admin)
Thanks, I was worried I needed to rebuild my OS as the ODBC32.dll is a
commonly used file.
Runnng SFC did the trick. Your instructions were great.
Start > Programs > accessories > (rc) command prompt and run as
administrator
sfc /scanfile=c:\windows\system32\odbc32.dll
luckily I had another vista operating system nearby or I would be hard
pressed to get the dll off the CD.
