Help identifying error on CBS log provided please

Hello,
Still trying to resolve an issue with windows\system32\odbc32.dll file
showing an error in some applications.
Here is the CBS log detailing the corrupt files.
Hope someone can help resolve the problem and give an indication on how to
fix it without having to restore to factory settings.

Hello,
The file is corrupt or missing, it needs to be replaced from the media or
from another machine.

Look at the resolution to this article
942968 Stop error when you try to download updates from Windows Update on a
computer that is running Windows Vista: "0x80070246"
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;942968

You would have use those steps in that article , substituting the file
odbc32.dll for the file that that the article references
