This is a text file indicating the windows home drives. you can edit it
manually.
1 - choose start | run
2 - type notepad c:\boot.ini
3- the file should be somthing like this:
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINXP
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINXP="Microsoft Windows XP
Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn

4- according to your windows installation, set directory name of your
windows dir. if it is c:\windows, change "winxp" to "windows"
for d:\windows the description lines should be:
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\windows
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn
5- save the file and restart windows.

hope this helps
