how to remove xp then install xp again

help my computer window xp all screwed up so how do i
remove xp then install it again..new computer a month ago
big screw up..regedit wont open..msconfig wont open..got
few errors when i click start or ie or whatever the
small screen pop up error 1701 or 1706..had to close it
few times then another will pop up,,,pls help me thanks

May just be a virus. Have you checked recently?
