how to remove unwanted branding on windows 2000

tnssearch has branded my internet explorer. I have windows 2000 and have
tried to remove it. Each time I do it seems to bring itself back to life
along with the 20 or so icons it drops on my desk top. I have resolved the
icon issue and all the pop ups but cannot get rid of the branding. I did a
search on google to get rid of unwanted branding and the first link it gives
me is tnssearch.com. Thanks google.
