Hi,
My first post so hope someone can help.

I have been running McAfee Sec Suite for 12 months on XP SP2 - and it has been just OK, but has slowed down my system. I have decided to remove it replace with another, but had a problem unistalling.
My system crashed and I have been left with a directory called <McAfee> within <Program Files> with 2 files mcodsax.dll and scriptcl.dll which i cannot delete as they appear to be in use.

Also Windows Security Centre now alerts to advise that McAfee Viruscan is turned off.

I have checked config and cannot find any mc*.* file names that load at startup.

I also have Uninstaller 2006 which shows an icon for McAfee Uninstaller, which i can right click to select 'Clear' - but when i reload UI 2006, it is back again.

Any help on how to disable what is left of McAfee to delete it would be appreciated.
