how to remove old addresses found by "suggest names" feature

When I am entering an email address, MS Outlook automatically lists
suggestions for the full email. This is a useful feature, but I have
accumulated several addresses which are old, or I no longer need. These
addresses are not, however, in a contact list or the address book - they
appear somewhat mysteriously from somewhere else.
I would like to know how to delete these old email addresses

I think if you right-click on the wrong address in the drop-down box,
there's an option to delete it.
