How to remove 'links' folder in the 'Favorites'

I have made my own folders under the favorites for easy
access to the various links.
So I don't want the 'Links' folder anymore but the folder
is generated automatically even I remove frequently.
It seems the folder is default of Internet Explorer by
Microsoft.
Can I delete it permanently?

You cannot permanently remove the Links folder. You can, however, give it
the Hidden attribute.

You cannot delete that folder but you can delete the links that are inside
it and replace them with the links you want.
