how to remove/delete downloaded games

hello,

i'm using a xp professional / service pack 2 - last week a game called
"vietnam ho chi minh trail" was download from " download-free-games.com "
after an hour or so i decided to remove this game from my system and as
practiced with other removals, the above game was removed through the contral
panel " add/remove" programs. To my amaze i found that the download logo of
this game is sitting on the "desktop" and in my "documents"

I searched through the whole computer , but could not find anything which
will get rid of this junk.

When prompting to delete these logos and the listings sitting in the search
program, the following response shuts back; can not delete file - it is being
used another person or program.

Will appreciate your help and guidance. If need be I do not mind calling
you. Pls let me have yr phone number.

tks and rgds
