How To Remove Borders around PP Slide

when i print preview a slide, a border appears around the entire slide which
isn't there in Normal view.

it is also there when i print the slide.

i've tried enlarging the print area from 11x8.5 to 11.5 x 9 but that doesn't
help. the border remains.

any suggestions on how to remove it? the border isn't present in the
template either.

Have you looked in File - print - if there is a check next to frame slides?
Or check the slide master. Go to View - Master - Slide Master. Check if
there is a border there and try to delete it.

In the print dialog box, remove the check from Frame slides.
