How to remove all IE trails after quiting ...

I believe that MSIE hides stuff and keep it. How do I find out what they are
and how do I make sure that it deleted after we close IE. Thanks.
 
In IE click Tools, Internet Options, on the General Tab delete cookies,
files, and clear the history.
 
But, I don't think it removes anything in <userhomedir>\Local Settings\<some
directory>
