How to remove a user password?

I had a corrupted system file and reinstalled XP under
\Windows2 to let me access and copy all my data files
before formatting the hard drive and starting over
again. One user account was password protected and I
therefore cannot access his directory to make the
copies.

Is there any way to enter the password or to remove the
password so I can access his main directory? Help!!
