How to remove a custom email address from Outlook?

M

mustaine

I work for a company that has a global address list. If I email
someone who is not on that list, his/her email address gets added
*somewhere* such that if I type the first couple of letters of the
email address in the "To" box, Outlook will present me with a list of
possibilities, including this person who is not in the global address
list.

I would like to remove a name from that list so that it does not appear
in the list of possible recipients, but I'm having trouble finding the
source Outlook is drawing from when it attempts to match the name.

Thanks in advance for any help.

That is the Autosuggest cache of addresses you've used before and is being
kept in a nk2-file. When the name pops up use your arrow keys to highlight
it and press DELETE to remove it.
