How to print in color

I have an HPDeskjet 612C printer that has a black
cartridge and a color cartridge. The color was turned
off some time ago, and I forgot how to turn it back on.
Have Windows XP. Please instruct how to turn on color
for printing. Thanks.

I have no idea how you can turn a cartridge off.... other than resetting the
print to print in grayscale as the default.

If you checked the box for grayscale and set that as the default, then
uncheck it. If the color cartridge hasn't been used for a while, it may
need replacing. The ink does tend to clog the print head if left unused.

Did anyone answer you concerning this problem?
I have a HP T45 all-in-one printer and when I loaded it
on my new PC the color didn't work. The print out test
page say Color Support: No . Whatever that means. I
don't know how to turn it on.
Any ideas?
