How to prevent?

Hi.

I have Windows Xp Prof. installed on my system and C drive is fat32
formatted. I have 3 accounts on it; administartor, someuser and guest
accounts. When someuser account logs in, he can see my all files in desktop
and my documents folders. So, how to prevent someuser account to see my
files?

Thanks in advance.

Is someuser a member of the administrator group?
Perhaps check that.

Thanks Sir for replying so fast.
I am sorry I didn't mention that on my computer, both administrator and
someuser accouts are passwords protected and someuser account is not part of
administrator group. Its an limited account.

Also, sir, I want to use gpedit.msc tool to prevent someuser accout to see
add/remove programs in control panel and to hide themes tab in display
properties. Is it possible if I do these settings from my administrator
account logged in and save changes for someuser account and can I transfer
settings in another computer's someuser2 accout as well.

One more question is troubling me. How to PREVENT someuser account to cut,
copy, rename, run and delete files in c:\games folder but I only want to
him to browse the files.

What your trying to do requires NTFS file system. You can't do that
using Fat32. If you convert over you will have the control your
seeking.

Good Luck,

As long as you continue to use the FAT32 file system, you have *NO*
security. Convert to NTFS and configure the various user accounts with
the desired level of access.
