how to prevent file preview in windows XP

since worm script can activate when
file is run or open ,

and i see that mcafee , alert when
i browse file in worm location in preview mode

, how i disable these preview mode
to prevent script like vbs or js to active

i think when it activated , the file
will lock and i can't del it mannually
and also mcafee can not delete or clean it also .

Go to Outlook Express menu, View | Layout
then unclick show preview pane in the lower
half of the drop-down menu.

It is unsafe to allow anything to run automatically.
