Does anyone have any suggestions on how to perform defragement on all drives
for XP at once?
When I perform defragment on HDD, I need to do it one by one.
I don't want to wait for current one finished before starting another.
If I can perform only once, so it will perform defragment on all drives,
then I will be happy on doing something else and don't need to watch and wait
all night long.
Does anyone have any suggestion?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Do them one at a time. Disable your anti-virus resident scanner before
starting the defrag and don't do anything else while it's defragging!

You could run it with Task Scheduler?

Doug Knox has a vbscript Defrag_all.VBS on his web site that does

logs,
runs as schedule task,

Hi Eric,

Try jkDefrag. It defaults to defragging all drives, no configuration
necessary. Put a shortcut on your Desktop and dbl-click it to defrag
all the drives. Quicker and more efficient than the scaled back Defrag.

... it's a PITA to set it so that it does NOT defrag all drives
(I actually didn't even try).

Rob,
JkDefrag C:
is not a PITA in a shortcut or .bat file.
