Hi,
I've a big problem: I have to open '.jpg' files from a link in IE6 (from a
web page) with an external program (like IrfanView). Thanks.

You'll need to save it to your hard disk first, unless the external program
provides a BHO that allows you to open files in the program directly from
IE.

Hi,

When click a link in IE which links to a .jpg file, it will be opened in
the IE window. To open it with a third-party software, I am afraid that we
need to save the .jpg file to the local disk, and also associate .jpg file
type with the third party software, and then you can open .jpg files with
the third party software by double clicking on the file.

Hope this help.

Best regards,
