how to number paragraphs using numbers with parenthesis: 3) etc.?

How do I use format to automatically number paragraphs
using this format:
1)
2)
3) etc

rather than
1.
2.
3.

#1. This NG is for XP Embedded development, therefore you are asking the
question to the wrong NG.
#2. I'm a nice guy so I'll help you anyway.
#3. On the menu: Format->Bullets and Numbering->Numbered.
