Forget about your cookies - they'll be recreated. If you had passwords saved
for certain websites via cookies, you can always enter them again & the
cookies will be recreated with same.

Move your entire OE store directory & your .wab from the old computer to the
new one. You can put the OE folder wherever you wish; for the wab file, just
put it in a temp folder for now. Create a new mail profile in OE on the new
PC, then go to tools | options | maintenance | store folder, and direct OE
to use the "real" store folder you moved. Close, reopen - is everything
there?

Then import your .wab file to the new one using file | import | address
book. Browse to the old wab file, import. This is easier for me than
figuring out where to put the little bugger.

Also note, for future reference -

Also note:
This is a group to support Windows XP issues. You will probably get a faster
and more expert answer if you post OE questions to an
Outlook Express news group.

Try microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

If this group isn't carried on your news server, try using
msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server - it's the source for all the
microsoft.public newsgroups).

If you're accessing the Microsoft newsgroups through the MS Product Support
Services Community Newsgroups web interface, click
http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?icp=InternetExplorer
to get to the Internet Explorer groups, then click the plus sign next to
your version of IE to see the link to the Outlook Express group for that
version number.
