How to modify my routing table

J

Jason Clark

I was told that in order for my VPN Clients to access the
internet while connected to the VPN that I would either
have to uncheck the use the default gateway in my VPN
properties or I would have to modify my routing table. I
don't see anywhere in RRAS how to do this can anyone help
me out? Unchecking the use default gateway is not an
option. Thanx.

You can use the route.exe command line tool to change/update the routes on
the machine. http://microsoft.com has good help about how to use route.exe

If you want help with routing, we really need to know how your LAN is
configured and how your LAN clients access the Internet. A simple diagram
with IP addresses and default gateway settings is a good way to display this
info. eg

Internet
|
public IP
router?
|
IP? dg?
server
192.168.1.1 dg blank
|
192.168.1.x dg 192.168.1.1
