How to modify/delete message before the logon screen?

I swapped computers with a customer. The IT administrator loaded the one I
now have with a network logon screen with intructions on what to do if you
have problems logging on. When you click OK, the logon screen appears. The
computer works fine on my network, but the info is no longer relevant.

I want to know how to delete, modify or create a message like that. --

Okie Dokie I am not 100% sure on this but check if there is a value in Local
Security Settings

Start --> Run --> Type "Secpol.msc" enter --> Click Local Policies -->
Security Options --> Double Click "Interactive Logon Message text for users
attempting to logon"

Is there a value there?

Kris, there is no entry--just a blank space. Interesting that it is the only
blank entry in the whole list. Could it be one of the other options? I am
going to check for one that is not interactive.
