I bought a 160gig drive (installed and formatted as Dive Z:) so i could back
up my existing 160g C: drive. I'm running XP Media Edition. I'd like to
have it so that if C: fails i can remove it, install Z: as C: and continue
to run. Z: would normally not be hooked up at all, and once a month or so i
would hook it up and mirror C: (Is there a built in XP way to do this or
should i use ghost? (Note C: is P-ATA and Z: is SATA)
Thanks
Eric

No, Windows does not support this. You have to get third-party
software.

Ghost, Acronis True Image and Powerquest Drive Image which is now a
part of Norton who makes Ghost.
