how to mark intersting places in a document to be able to jump to

G

Georg Hodosi

Hi,

sorry from my newbie question, but I can not figure out how to set
(temporary = until I close the document) labels so I can jump back to this
labels.

I'm using a large document with splitted window to jump around, but that's
not enough.

It is as <Shift F5>, but unstead of got to last edited place I want to set
my own marks.

Best regards
Georg

Bookmarks are the obvious answer -- they're actually permanent, but not in a
harmful way. There are also various other jump-to options -- page, section,
heading, etc.
