how to make domain drop down box to show up in logon window

The log on window only has user name and password text box, but no domain
drop down box. How to make it to show up again? I guess when I setup
windows, I didn't choose the domain. Now I want the domain drop down box to
show up.

please help. thanks!!

You need to change from logging onto a workgroup to logging onto the
domain. See http://support.microsoft.com/?id=295017 (note the remark
about Windows XP Home, and hopefully that is not what you are using), or
just use the help already there (Start -> Help and Support, search on
"join domain").
 
Right click on your My computer icon on your desktop and choose the Computer
identification tab and put your workgroup name in and the choose advanced and
enter your domain there.

Reboot and you should have the domain box
